YOUR HOSTS
Sean Grace
"He had $18, a full tank of gas, a pack of Luckies and a dream."
Born in a alley in a seedy part of New York City and raised by a pack of rats, Sean learned the rules of the streets at an early age. His childhood was difficult, consisting of dumpster buffets, avoiding angry cats and long conversations with colorful street people. Survival was tenuous but these experiences taught him the blues firsthand. By age 16 he discovered that he could sing and started a band. Over the next 15 years, he lived like a rock star on welfare. Grace played at CBGB and in the northeast club scene for 10 years and lived a relatively carefree life. But his luck was about to change.

After accidentally spiting on the girlfriend of Vinnie "The Razor" Gombazo during a benefit show for disadvantaged inner city Polo players, Grace was a marked man. At 3 am on March 27, 1997 he slipped out of town in his 1990 Dodge Colt packed with all his belongings. He had $18, a full tank of gas, a pack of Luckies and a dream.

The next day his ride ran out of gas in a commune run by retired hockey Defensemen in rural Northern Georgia. They hosed off the downtrodden Grace and took him in with open arms. Over the next two years he learned the game that would become his love and when it was announced that Atlanta was once again to have an NHL franchise he ventured toward the big city. On Marietta street he was struck but a Krispy Creme truck and awarded a six figure settlement. His first purchase - Atlanta Thrashers season tickets.

Almost ten years later, Grace has become one of the most prominent hockey Writers in the South. He currently lives in a sewage tunnel under Centennial Park and only emerges for Thrasher games. An American success story - Sean Grace.
